How It Works
We dont save lives...
we teach you how to save yours.
At Protisruti Drug Rehabilitation center we depart from institutional drug treatment center and have created an unique therapeutic community method along with Narcotics Anonymous 12 steps as the foundation in a holistic approach using customized psycho therapies. At Protisruti, we don’t distinguish people addicted to drugs and alcohol as Patients. Instead we view them as students, people learning to live with out substance abuse. Our drug rehabilitation program is designed to enable graduates to get back into their life on their own.We can’t save lives but we can teach you how to save yours. The program’s focus is on teaching students to live ethical lives free of their addiction, and be able to become a contributing citizen. Below is a brief demonstration of our rehabilitation program. Please continue your reading to get a better understanding of drug addiction, it’s prevention and our rehabilitation program.
Understanding Drug Use, Drug Abuse And Addiction
Nobody starts out intending to develop an addiction, but many people get caught in its snare. People experiment with drugs for many different reasons. Many first try drugs out of curiosity, to have a good time, because friends are doing it, or in an effort to improve athletic performance or ease another problem, such as stress, anxiety, or depression. Use doesn’t automatically lead to abuse, and there is no specific level at which drug use moves from casual to problematic. It varies by individual. Drug abuse and addiction is less about the amount of substance consumed or the frequency, and more to do with the consequences of drug use. No matter how often or how little you’re consuming, if your drug use is causing problems in your life—at work, school, home, or in your relationships—you likely have a drug abuse or addiction problem.
Drug Addiction And The Brain
Addiction is a complex disorder characterized by compulsive drug use. While each drug produces different physical effects, all abused substances share one thing in common: repeated use can alter the way the brain looks and functions.
Our Rehabilitation Program (Treatment Method)
Research in humans and in animal models demonstrates that repeated exposure to drugs of abuse alters brain function and behavior. Therefore, early intervention is key—before brain changes take hold and drug abuse becomes compulsive. Hence that is to say that, “Drug Addiction” is a chronic brain disease (95% of the disease is psychological). It is not possible to recover an addict from addiction only using antidotes or detoxification. The proper solution is drug rehabilitation using bio-psychological treatment. At Protisruti we’ve designed such a treatment method that is a proper solution for drug addicts to recover and make them capable of to continue a drug free, sober and productive life.

Recovery is possible
It is not enough to “just say no” — as the 1980s slogan suggested. Instead, you can protect (and heal) yourself from addiction by saying “yes” to other things. Cultivate diverse interests that provide meaning to your life. Understand that your problems usually are transient, and perhaps most importantly, acknowledge that life is not always supposed to be pleasurable.
An Addict Is Not Bad, Not Mad But He Is Sick
